# Vial Platform Troubleshooting

The eVOLVER vial platform is the base that the Smart Sleeves sit upon. It contains the [motherboard](/evolver/hardware/motherboard-layout-and-circuitry.md), [Raspberry Pi](/evolver/hardware/raspberry-pi.md) (where the server is running), and power supplies.
