# Vial Platform Troubleshooting

The eVOLVER vial platform is the base that the Smart Sleeves sit upon. It contains the [motherboard](https://khalil-lab.gitbook.io/evolver/hardware/motherboard-layout-and-circuitry), [Raspberry Pi](https://khalil-lab.gitbook.io/evolver/hardware/raspberry-pi) (where the server is running), and power supplies.
